Until Then Slide Show
Dear Friends: this was forwarded to me by X, another retired Marine who received it from another retired Marine. If you believe all you read about how bad things are going in Iraq, please take the time to call up this slide show. Don't be ashamed if you get a little teary towards the end, I did. This is a tribute to all those in uniform, not just Marines. I had the privilege to work with some outstanding young Americans who wore the uniform of the 82nd Airborne Division while in Iraq. If I could still wear the uniform, I would go to war with them just as I would with the Marines.

I got the message above from a friend that went to Iraq as a US Marine in Gulf War I, and as a KBR employee in Gulf War II. I also teared toward the end of the slide show. For what it is worth, I don't feel that my masculinity is one bit threated by showing emotion. I also, would go to war over there in a "New York minute". I even tried to - both I and II.

I found this blog will trying to find the name of the music in the "Until Then..." slide show. My husband, a Marine Gunnery Sergeant, forwarded it to me earlier this week. I normally balk at forwards and slide shows etc, but this one was so well done and is so moving. Unfortunately, the link you provided is now a bad link. Here are two others. I viewed the slide show on the first link.
