A Navy wife copes with loss (HamptonRoads.com/Pilot Online)...Six Navy SEALs based at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base were among 19 Special Forces killed a battle in eastern Afghanistan in late June. Most of the men left behind wives and children.

The family of one of the SEALs killed, Jeffrey A. Lucas, has established a fund for his 4-year-old son, Seth.
