Army Pfc. Morgan A. Madrick has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.
She is the daughter of Robin S. Madrick and Michael E. Dick of Able Road, Drakes Branch, Va.
Her husband, Pfc. Thomas H. Cameron, is the son of Thomas H. and Lisa Cameron of State Route 9, Chestertown, N.Y.
Madrick graduated in 2005 from Newburgh Free Academy, N.Y., and received an associate degree in 2008 from Paul Smith's College, N.Y.
